Holley Falls

About

The Village of Holley is a welcoming and picturesque community located along the Erie Canal known for its rich history and small-town charm. One of its most captivating attractions is Holley Falls, a 35-foot cascade of red Medina sandstone framed by lush wooded surroundings. Overflow water from the Erie Canal feeds into the East Branch of Sandy Creek, which flows north to Lake Ontario.

Holley Falls Park offers a scenic setting with a picnic pavilion, a picturesque footbridge and hiking trails that connect to nearby Holley Canal Park. Operated by the Village of Holley, the canal park is a popular stop for boaters and cyclists traveling the Erie Canal. Visitors are greeted by a boardwalk, playground, gazebo and nature trails leading to Holley Falls and the village’s historic Public Square. The park includes docking facilities with water, electric hookups, restrooms and showers.

Plan your visit around the summer Friday night concert series at the gazebo (June through August) or the annual Holley June Fest held on the first Saturday of June.

Holley Falls is accessible from Public Square via Frisbee Terrace and Holley Falls Park Road, making it an ideal spot for picnicking, hiking, fishing and enjoying nature.

Call or email the Village of Holley to reserve the pavilion.
