Lyndonville is a picturesque village set on the Ontario lake plains amidst orchards, fields and several Amish & Mennonite farms. The Village is noted for its small town charm, Independence Day celebration and award winning apples.

Johnson Creek runs through the center of the downtown with a waterfall gracing the facade of the school campus to the north and Veterans Memorial Park to the south. The Yates Community Library hosts a weekly summer concert series in their back yard and on the banks of the creek Monday evenings.

Must see & do in Lyndonville:

  • Catch Lyndonville’s 4th of July celebration, culminating in one of the largest fireworks display in Western NY
  • Reserve Monday nights in the summer for a free outdoor concert at the Yates Community Library and rain location at the Yates Town Park pavilion
  • Visit the infamous Shoe Tree on the corner of Foss & Morrison Roads and make a wish while you toss your old shoes to hang on a branch
  • Stroll through Veterans Park in December to catch the holiday spirit and forest of decorated Christmas trees
