Come one! Come all! A floating circus is coming to town! In conjunction with the Bicentennial of the Erie Canal - Flotsam River Circus will be taking the canal and the Hudson River all the way from Buffalo to New York City! Catch one of 35 free performances of FLOTSAM: a troupe of musicians, puppeteers, and circus artists on a ramshackle raft.
Flotsam includes a troupe of musicians, circus performers, and puppeteers who perform from a ramshackle raft. There is no admission charge to see the group.
The troupe members this year include performers skilled as gymnasts, puppeteers, balance artists, hair suspension and aerial hoop, juggling, clowning, sword swallowing and playing music.
Flotsam! will be in the Medina Canal Basin, offering a free performance on August 6. More details to follow.
