Independent Bookstore Day Celebration at Author's Note

AUTHOR’S NOTE CELEBRATES THIRD ANNUAL INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY ON SATURDAY, APRIL 27th, 10 AM TO 6 PM
Medina, NY, April 27, 2024: Author’s Note, Medina’s independent bookstore located at 519 Main Street, joins nearly a thousand bookstores around the United States in celebrating Independent Bookstore Day (IBD) on Saturday, April 27th with activities, giveaways, prizes, and treats throughout the day. IBD celebrates, promotes, and highlights the irreplaceable value independent bookstores bring to readers, authors, and local communities.

Author’s Note’s self-chosen theme for IBD 2023 is: “If You Give a Bookstore A Party…” This theme is a nod to the upcoming visit Author’s Note will host on Monday, April 29th with Laura Numeroff, the mega-bestselling author of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and all the subsequent “If You Give” titles (including If You Give a Pig a Party).

Throughout the day, customers will share in scavenger hunts, activities, games and treats in a lushly-decorated store. Customers can win a year’s supply of free audiobooks, gift cards, and gift baskets. Several IBD-exclusive items supplied by the ABA will be available for sale or giveaway that day only.
