Kendall Scarecrow Festival

The Kendall Scarecrow Festival is an annual event which offers food, live music, raffles, games, hayrides, and plenty of family-friendly activities, including crafts, face painting, inflatables, and pony rides, with many kids’ activities free thanks to community support. This year's theme is America 250. 

2026 Festival Events: 
-Live Music in the Gazebo by Rebel's Posse
-Chainsaw Carving Demo by Jeff of Critters 3D
-Masonic Lodge Chicken BBQ
-KCSF Basket Drawing (20+ baskets to win!)
​-KCSF Special Raffle by Critters 3D
-Vote for your favorite scarecrow contest entry - prizes awarded
-Hay rides through town​​
​-Mercy Flight table
-Possible Mercy Flight Helicopter Landing (depending on availability that day)
-Take a hay wagon ride down to the Firehall to the Kendall Ladies Auxiliary Farm Market and the Fire Department Open House!
-Food is TBD for this year's festival!​​​​​

2026 Festival Activities for Kids: 
​-All activities are FREE thanks to donations from the community, local businesses and festival goers!
-Pumpkin decorating (no contest this year - pumpkins must be taken home by 3pm!)
-Build your own scarecrow (not part of the official contest - just for fun!)
-Rock Painting with Albion NY Rocks
-Kids craft project & coloring table
