Medina's Patriotic Birthday Concert

Celebrate America's 250th birthday at a patriotic concert in State Street Park on Sept. 6, hosted by the Medina Tourism Committee. Enjoy an afternoon of patriotic and jazz favorites performed by a band led by retired Medina band director Jim Steele. Retired broadcaster Mike Randall will deliver a reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by the sounding of Taps by the VFW. Free birthday cupcakes topped with red, white and blue frosting will be available while supplies last. Food vendors will be on-site throughout the event. The celebration is supported in part by the Sons of the American Legion.
