Join the Hoag Library for Tea with Dee, a Local History Lecture featuring Local History Librarian Delia Robinson, as she explores the remarkable life of Lydia Selina Johnson.
Johnson was the only woman from Orleans County to serve in the Civil War and later became the first nurse to receive a pension by special act of Congress. This lecture will highlight her service, resilience, and lasting place in local and national history.
Different lectures are hosted every first Tuesday of the month at 2 PM. All are welcome and it is free to attend.
