The Genesee-Orleans Public Health Departments, Orleans County Tourism, and Visit Genesee County, NY are partnering to launch the Genesee and Orleans Counties (GO) Adventure Challenge.

Challenge Purpose:

This regional wellness and tourism initiative encourages residents and visitors to explore Genesee and Orleans Counties through outdoor recreation. Participants can walk, bike, paddle, and visit parks, trails, waterways, historic sites, and downtown districts—supporting healthier lifestyles while discovering local destinations and strengthening community connections.

Challenge Levels

• Level 1: 135 total hours of physical activity anywhere, OR
• Level 2: 135 hours + visit at least 5 locations in each county from approved list

Participants will submit an attestation form at the end of the challenge confirming completion of their selected level.

Registration Options:

• $5 Registration Fee:
  • Official program patch or sticker upon completion
  • Digital or printable certificate
• Free Participation Option:
  • Digital or printable certificate only

Submission

When complete, participants submit their challenge materials to isabella@orleanscountytourism.com or by dropping off at the Orleans County Tourism Office or Orleans County Public Health Office AND 

Completing the online attestation form here
