Erie Canal Port at Village of Albion
High above the tree line welcoming visitors by boat or by land is the dome of the 1858 County Courthouse. A true port village, Albion was the site of sandstone quarrying and fruit export on the canal, bringing prosperity to the area. Today, Canalside Park offers boat docking facilities and a landscaped park for watching the lift bridge operations. Amenities include water, electric service and comfort station with showers.
