Medina Falls

About

The Medina Waterfalls are a dramatic display of rushing water, foam, and thunderous sound. Located where Oak Orchard Creek passes beneath the Erie Canal, the creek plunges 45 feet, creating an impressive waterfall. The falls can often be heard before they are seen, as surrounding trees and vegetation can limit views, especially during the summer months. The site also highlights the remarkable engineering of the canal system, where Oak Orchard Creek flows under the canal before cascading over the falls.
